Welcome to the official website for Les Belles Femmes and Les Beaux!

Les Belles Femmes is a female Krewe with a male auxiliary, Les Beaux. Founded in 2002 in celebration of the first parades in Europe that led to Mardi Gras in New Orleans and Gasparilla in Tampa, the members are professionals and active members of the community. They currently do charity work with the Pediatric Cancer Foundation and Dream a Dress.

The krewe takes its theme from Moulin Rouge, the most famous French cabaret in Paris. Their costumes reflect the can-can dancers and glamour of times past.
The members celebrate and embrace the essence of Truth, Beauty, Freedom, and Love.
Royalty riding the floats this past year were their 2008 Queen Ellen Arena, and past queens Pat Smith, Nora Lee Smith and Susan King.

In 2007, they were sponsored by Clos du Bois Winery - All the French you need to know!
